Tulip fields in the Bollenstreek ("Bulb area") in South Holland, the Netherlands. Tulips are grown here primarily for their bulbs, and the flower heads need to be cut off to keep the bulb strong and healthy. Later on, the bulbs will be harvested and the new bulbs that grown on the outside of the old ones will be peeled off. "Bulb peeling" is traditional seasonal job for youngsters.
